Ask a new question. I couldn't really find a solution anywhere online, which made me think it was a "unique" problem and was likely caused by something I did a while ago. I reset windows to factory settings and that fixed the problem. Windows has a "Reset This PC" option in settings, which you can use to completely delete everything except for the operating systems itself. That wasn't working for me, for some reason, so I followed a video I found online. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this before and knows a solution?
For example, when I click on a video, the first few seconds of it are just glitchy popping sounds. When I launch a game, there's a popping sound. I'm thinking it might be a problem with my drivers, but I don't know where to start with that.
That's why I'm asking for help here. The audio glitching happens every time I launch an application or start watching a video, but it sometimes happens randomly without me doing anything. I tried screen recording to record the sound but the sound doesn't get picked up in screen recordings. I have also tried to run the audio troubleshooter troubleshoot sound problems , but my computer blue screened. This thread is locked. I succeed to solve this by disactivating HPET and dynamic synthetic timer. I use following commands in commande prompt with admin right :. There is also the settings tscsyncpolicy and useplatformtick but seams with latest version of windows 10 that default value are ok.
Perhaps clean reinstall of windows restore also some of these settings. Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback.
